Hey Zak, RCA Texas chapter member here. Love the new podcast! I was excited to hear that you geek out over audio and audio engineering. I post sound measurements and settings recommendations on RivianForums.com (as @superfluid) and am always delighted by how many audio-enthusiasts the Rivian community has. Looking forward to your interview with Ryan Ulliate. Please thank him for his Atmos work and ask him for his thoughts on the importance of good sound in a vehicle, particularly a quiet EV, and about the possibility of adding Dirac Live Active Room Treatment to Rivian systems. Rivian could leapfrog the industry standard by engaging with the Audio Foundry car audio alliance and adding Dirac ART. I think a lot of people would pay extra for this feature. I would. If not that, please ask him to ask Rivian to give us a Parametric EQ 😄 https://www.audioholics.com/news/denon-dirac
Hey Ted!
First off…huge fan of your work! I’ve been meaning to do a video on my personal channel about the audio system, using your measurements and settings! I use them in my Gen1 R1T, and absolutely love it!
I will absolutely add your question to my list to ask Ryan. I think that’s going to be a great episode. He was such a cool dude to hang out with too.
Thanks for listening, and thanks for all your work on the sound!
Hey Zak, glad the settings helped! If you’d be interested in chatting about Rivian audio—and sound in general—on your pod, I’d be up for it! Thanks for making this show!
